Mackenzie's senior portrait session was so memorable! Somehow we ended up with about 11 crew members- it was like a family reunion, and we loved it! At one point RD was standing inside of the front-end loader of a tractor on the site of a dilapidated house that I believe was built pre-civil war era. Never a dull moment around here!
We asked Mackenzie to share a little bit about herself with our followers. She is a senior at Wesson Attendance Center and plans to go to college next fall. Her faith is a monumental part of her life, as well as the life of her family members. During her session, she shared with us about some of her goals and dreams for the future, and we have no doubt that she will be able to achieve whatever she believes she is called to do. Small in stature, but big in heart!
A: What part of college are you most excited about?
M: This probably sounds crazy but I'm actually extremely excited to start my college classes and study things that I'm genuinely interested in.
A: What will you miss most about high school?
M: I'll definitely miss the ministerial opportunities from high school. Spending so much time together allows meaningful friendships to form opening doors to true fellowship and discipleship.
A: What major are you interested in right now and why?
M: About a year ago, God called me into the ministry, so I plan on following that calling into my college career by majoring in religion.
A: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
M: I hear this question a lot and I'm excited to say that I have no idea! Haha! I know I'll be in the ministry but the exciting thing about following God is that I can never dream of where He will lead me. I simply have to learn to depend on Him and seek Him above all else!
A: What impact do you hope to make on the world?
M: I hope that God will use me to wake at least one person up to the weight of His glory and the goodness of an intimate relationship with Him.
A: What advice do you have for younger girls?
M: For anyone entering high school, don't have selfish ambition but seek God's will alone.
A: What is your dream job and why?
M: If I could do anything I would travel the world and teach the Bible. I have a passion to make the Word of God known, but I have a passion for God's creation and to experience different cultures.
